"Maison de Melin" is centrally located in the heart of the wine district of Burgundy. Melin is a small village located in beautiful surroundings with beautiful hiking areas, about 10 minutes drive from Beaune.
The house originally belonged to Chateau de Melin, which was built in 1551, where it served as the castle's wine cellar. The wine cellar is today converted into the house's spacious living room of 65 sqm.
"Maison de Melin" is fenced on a nicely built plot of 650 sqm with heated swimming pool of 4x10m. The house has been thoroughly renovated and was completed in the summer of 2018. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, hob and oven, fridge / freezer and Nespresso coffee machine.
There is free WiFi available in the house.
In total there are four bedrooms in the house, as well as a second livingroom with sofabed that can be used as a bedroom. Two of the bedrooms have fixed double beds and two of the bedrooms have single beds so that there is a total of 8-10 beds.
There are three newly refurbished bathrooms with shower, toilet and sink. There is a separate laundry room with washing machine.
On the property there is a car parking space, as well as free parking in the street. There are sun loungers, umbrella, seating area, hammock and barbecue that can be used. The house is suitable for 2-3 families.
